TenCate Mirafi® FM fascine mattress and Geotube® geobag units offer effective scour protection to breakwaters, dykes and groynes.

Protection dykes prevent flooding and water damage in confined areas. TenCate Geotube® is also used as containment dykes to retain hydraulic fills.

TenCate Geotube® can replace rock or sheet piles in the construction of groynes. Mirafi® woven geotextile prevents erosion around the sides of the groynes.

Dewatering is the use of a Geotube® containment technology to remove water from solid or semi-solid material including soil. Geotube® dewatering technology is used for projects large and small, because of its simplicity and low cost.

TenCate Geotube® technology provides cost-effective methods of dewatering and containment. The dewatering containers can be custom-sized to the application.

TenCate Geotube® and Geocontainer® are used to construct breakwaters as marine structures for shoreline erosion protection. Replaces conventional rock fill.
